okay i know i haven't posted lately but today is a day that i believe merits a post.

first off...what the FUCK California?! today was the day that the supreme court of Cali was going to re-evalute the whole prop 8 ruling and guess what they do? decide to uphold it and allow existing marriages to remain. while i admit im glad they allowed the marriages to stay, i'm still a bit peeved that they would actually rule for this stupid rule.

basically millions of californian's are now robbed of their rights to marry and this is totally a blow to the LGBQT community. right now all i wanna do is protest my ass off, but i can't cause im stuck in school. i am so pissed off right now it isn't funny, and i just feel so terrible that i can't do anything about it right now, cause im stuck here at mac.

like seriously california...what the FUCK?! prop 8 can kiss my freedom loving gay ass >.<

as well...buffy movie remake with no joss, original cast or scoobie crew? another FAIL and FUCK NO!

ugh i know it's been a long time since my last post, so i shall try to rectify that problem right now lol

anywho...midterms are done...but my second set are coming up this weekend which sucks a lot. as well...i have learned my lesson to never drink more than 15 shots in a span of two hours...i feel so sick right now...and it happened last night too! ugh...never again lol
but yes...hopefully i can survive these midters...but right now i have to get back to my psych assignment

i am now at Mcmaster! ~~well technically speaking i've been here for about a week but lets just ignore that fact shall we?~~

so yes, i am now in hamilton, about an hour - two hours away from scarborough, my beloved little ghetto town, but meh it's all good =]

currently im waiting for my next class which is chem, and is in about...6 or so hours >.< so yeah...lots of waiting to do, and while a smarter student would probably be studying or reading over their notes, i am currently here on lj, and other sites just surfing the net =]. this goes to show, that i am neither a smart person nor a good student, but i believe that this will changed when the fact that OMFG I'M NOT IN HIGHSCHOOL ANYMORE will settle in soon.

but yeah, not much to report here, other than yes i had frosh week, and it was somewhat okay, not really the best but it was okay. not much else to say, but i hopefully more will come to mind later on, but until then, i have nothing more to say...

...maybe i should start reading my chem? eh...we'll see how i feel in the next ten minutes lol

joss whedon never ceases to amaze me. just finished watching Doctor Horrible's Sing Along Blog and it was just...wow. loved it. if anyone wants to watch it, they can find act one here

but you gotta watch it now, cause it will disappear at either midnight tonight or tomorrow, lol sorry sorta forgot ^^; though i'm pretty sure people already uploaded it to the web and stuff.

but yeah, really good mini-series.

oh watched Dark Knight yesterday. i was supposed to watch something else instead but i really wanted to watch it and like, i'm leaving for camping in like a few days so i wanted to get it over with (sorry Micheal, i tried to reach you, i'll give you back your money soon ^^;). but yea...Heath Ledger is an amazing actor, his Joker was just...spot on lol.

So yeah...go out and watch Dark Knight and watch Doctor Horrible's Sing Along Blog when you have the chance! you won't regret it!

lol just look at Natsuki's face. She so didn't expect Shizuru to hug her out of nowhere like that ^^ But yeah, the relationship between these two is so cute, they both manage to bring out the best out of one another

le sigh...while i may have been on hiatus from this fandom Inuyasha/Kagome will always hold a special place in my heart. These two just have such a great relationship and honestly, the episode Return to the Place that We First Met has got to be one of the best Inuyasha episodes ever which shows just how much the two love each other.

what can i say, i have a soft spot for hot chicks with super powers. Faith and Buffy have such a complex relationship throughout the whole series of Buffy. even though Faith wasn't in many episodes, whenever the two share the screen it is so obvious that there is just...something between them. whether it be love, hate, or URST Faith and Buffy's relationship is just so messed up which makes it so damn good.

I just watched Get Smart with my two friends from school, Mike and Chris, and I gotta say that it was an awesome movie.

It had the right amount of action, comedy and romance in it to keep my attention throughout the whole film.

Now all that needs to happen is for people to write Max/Agent 99 fics, cause man...so cute together.

Oh and Agent 99... is really, really hot XD

i did my engrish exam today, so that means i only have 2 more to go, i should really be studying but the freaking heat has made me sleepy T^T oh wells.

word of advise though...never fall asleep during your exam, regardless of being almost done for when you wake up, you lose your train of thought -_-

Anime North 2008

i am so exhausted @.@

got back from Anime North 2008 and let me say that it has to be one of the best cons i have ever went to. so many cosplayers, a lot of which were dressd up as people from Avatar, to Kingdom Hearts, to Naruto. and of course, no con is complete without the token Inuyasha, Squall or Rinoa lol.

i find it so odd that last year everyone was dressed up like dragonball z characters, and now its all about the Naruto and Avatar.

so i don't have any pictures right now, cause i forgot to bring my camera, but my friend should be sending me some pics which i will post probably tomorrow night.

but yeah, Anime North was great. met a lot of people, bought a lot of manga (Kannazuki no miko!!!!) and ended up spending way too much money on trying to get a Shizuru figure (ended up with two Arika's, one Mashiro and Yakariko T^T) and gah! I'm so pissed...they sold out on Mai Hime/Otome Doujinshi yesterday T^T

well i'm beat...gonna go read my new manga ^^

House Season Finale

OMG...that was just...

I'm heatbroken...completely and utterly heartbroken. I feel so bad for Wilson, omg i just wanna hug him. Poor, poor Wislon. And House...when he started to cry I started to tear up. That was like one of the only times that House showed true emotion.

I'm kinda upset though that Wilson seems to blame House. It wasn't his fault, but it does seem understandable seeing as he's grieving and all.

And 13...omg she's positive for Huntington's.

God...this episode was just so sad. It's like the creator's love killing our spirits. I really liked Amber...and now she's gone. God this is so depressing.

On a slightly happier note...really liked the House/Cuddy moment at the end, even though it was small it was still there.

Can't wait for season 5 now...I really want to see how House and Wilson are going to act around one another. Have to say, even though this season seemed pretty off, I really loved the last two episodes. Overall, those two have to be one of the best in the season.

i seriously can't wait for this show to come out, i mean, Faith was totally my favourite character in Buffy, and just to see Eliza working with Joss again...i just hope that the show won't get cancelled is all lol. also...look at 1:03 min into the trailer, theres like a scene with Faith vs. Buffy in it! squueeeee...my inner Faith/Buffy shipper is dying inside lol.

oh man...anime north 2008 this weekend, can't wait for that either -anyone here going?

i find it odd that this year i'm going to be 18, legally an adult and basically...just being legal all in general lol.

see the thing is, i just realized that i'm growing up (yes it took about 3 years for me to realize this but meh, what do you expect). it's so odd, looking back at my childhood, which is weird cause i'm not even that old compared to other people out there.

i unno, i just started having all these weird thoughts after watching Buffy Season 3 for the past few days. watching it reminded me of when i first saw the show, 11 years ago in may with my cousins. i was so young back then, and just thinking about all the shows i used to watch, all the things i used to do, who i was and etc. its just so...nostlgic and odd how my views on the show have changed. back then i was all about the buffy/angel, now i'm all about the buffy/faith (because faith is uber cool, kick ass and majorly ~~hot~~ awesome)

i just...can't help but feel that my life is moving way too fast for me to enjoy. i miss my childhood. i miss all the shows i used to watch, cause the things now a days are just stupid. whatever happened to shows like doug, pepper ann, recess and filmore? what happened to shows like buffy the vampire slayer, angel, x-files, student bodies and the like?

man...i can't believe it's been 5 years since the series finale of buffy...its just so weird. damn...i feel sad now, time is moving too fast, and while i'm still considered pretty young, i still feel pretty old.

i'm losing my voice T^T

i sound like a pre-pubescent boy according to some of my friends. while others sayd i sound like a chain smoker and that my voice is "sexy" now (think of pheobe in that friend's episode when she got sick).

my friend sidrah tried to get me to sing smelly cat as well because of my voice T^T

boo...it hurts to swallow >.<

oh the side note, i completely failed my calc test lol i should feel bad about this but eh, i don't for some odd reason
